Masataka Osaki, Mitsui Life Visiting Researcher
Masataka Osaki is the 2016-18 Mitsui Life Visiting Scholar. He is the Associate Manager, Corporate Planning Department at Mitsui Life Insurance Company in Tokyo, Japan. Masa earned a M.E. Social Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in 2011. Masa will spend two years at Ross researching financial mathematics and economics.
In January 2017 and January 2018, Masa was awarded an "Encouraging Prize" by the Institute of Life Insurance Management, Japan for his work reporting foreign insurance market news.
Yao Lu, Visiting Research Professor
Yao Lu is an Associate Professor of Finance in the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University. She received her Ph.D. in Business Economics from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2009, and her Masters in Statistics with Financial Engineering Concentration from Stern School of Business at New York University. Her research areas include Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Law and Finance, Financial Market Development, Corporate Governance Reforms and International Financial Markets.
